My wife (49) collapsed in our bedroom last weekend and but for my 16 yr old daughter, who had learned CPR during transition yr in 2008, who brought her back and the ambulance crew who arrived in c 10 minutes she was gone. She is now in James' awaiting an ICD(?) and thankfully should be ok following same. Dont know why I'm actually doing this - maybe because I'm still a bit in shock, noy sure but the Cormac forum seemed a good place to put it out and see what comes back. Natuarally we are all so proud of what my eldest daughter did (and the youngest was on the phone to 999 at the same time) and all the medics since believe she bought her mother the time necessary to survive what now seems to have been a cardiac arrest (without any warning, chest pain etc etc)
