Firstly I would like to congratulate Cormac McAnallans parents on their website. The sudden death of their son Cormac has inspired them and given them an inner strength to achieve something worthwhile, similar to the strength the Tyrone team members felt after he died. I think this website will become a valuable information resource for people to share information. Presently we live in a society where we are not adequately informed by the medical profession, and spend our scraping together snippets of information. The more information that is gathered and shared between a wider range of people, the more prepared we are to act against such an illness, and this will no doubt result in less tragedy.

I also think it would be a good idea if those community workers who are responsible for the defilibrator would invite people from each community for an information session to demonstrate to them -if and when patients should contact them, how these devices are to used and the general procedure for contacting them. I would also like more info and training to be made available on how to resusitate a patient taking an attack.
